There’s not much to tell you about Alberobello. It’s a fairly small town. While it is ABSOLUTELY worth stopping by and is super cool to see…it is also almost purely touristic at this point. I wouldn’t recommend staying there or eating there. But, definitely go and spend an hour or two walking around.
E-Bike Tours
The best way to see Alberobello (and the nearby town of Locorotondo) is via E-bike. There are a bunch of E-bike experiences that allow you to ride between the true valley surrounding these towns where you’ll get to see the real Italian countryside. The paths are almost completely void of cars and easy to navigate along with being incredibly beautiful. This allows you to see the two towns in this region (Alberobello and Locorotondo) that are both worth seeing, but not really big enough to make a whole day out of. This gives you an activity to pair with seeing the main attractions of these two towns. The tour guides will let you get off the bikes and walk around each town for an hour or so.
