Not just one of the best Indian meals you’ll ever eat, but simply one of the best meals you’ll find anywhere.  To the embarrassment of my wife, I told the waitress that I no longer believed in God after this meal…I only believed in Pickle.  It was that good.

A small casual restaurant that specializes in grilled meats.  Their short rib with chimichurri is really fantastic.

Leo Burdocks

There simply isn’t better fish & chips on planet earth.  I’m not sure of many things, but I’m sure of that statement.  DO NOT leave Dublin without eating some fish & chips at Leo Burdocks.

If you’re going to spend some money on a fancy, Michelin starred meal while in Dublin, the only game in town is Chapter One.  It’s been an absolute favorite of the local foodie contingent since it opened in 2021.

If you’re a true foodie and are looking for a second spot to have an excellent tasting menu, there are few places in Ireland that have better set menus than Bastible.  They even have a fantastic vegetarian menu.

If you want the perfect burger, look no further.  Bunsen is a great spot to get a perfectly executed burger.  The menu consists of nothing but burgers and fries so don’t bring your vegetarian friends.

The spot in Dublin if you’re looking for a steak.  Try their signature Featherblade cut with their truffle mac & cheese.

Brookwood

Another fabulous steak restaurant, Brookwood features Vintage Reserve Irish dry-aged beef sourced from a local butcher.  They also have great seafood and burgers as well.

If you’re looking for a quick place to get a banging fried chicken sandwich, look no further than Mad Egg.  They have a few locations throughout the city and make some of the best chicken sandwiches around.

Fresh homemade pasta and excellent grilled meats.  This is the only place you should really consider eating Italian food in Dublin, and it’s some of the best Italian food you’ll find.
