1 – Hop Sing Laundromat: A secret Chinatown speakeasy run by an eccentric owner who likes to pretend he’s from North Korea. At one point was called the greatest bar in the world by Conde Nast Traveler.

2 – North 3rd: A fantastic local hang out in Northern Liberties with the best wings in town.

3 – Bob and Barbara’s: The funnest dive bar you’ll ever find.  Turns into a ruckus nightly drag show.

4 – Tattooed Mom: South Streets eccentrically decorated bar has a great atmosphere and free lollipops.

5 – The Franklin Bar: Up scale, high class speakeasy with rich, dark decor that makes you feel like ordering a whiskey based cocktail.

6 – Old City Tavern: An old tavern that’s been serving up beer and ciders since the 1700s.  All of their drinks are based off of actual recipes from the Founding Fathers.

7 – Wm. Mulherin’s Sons:  High-end rustic dining room and bar with a wood burning fireplaces.  Combines the type of rustic charm mixed with industrialized modernism that makes you want to sit back and drink an old fashioned.

8 – The Library Bar: Another high end, speakeasy style bar with fantastic cocktails.

9 – Time: Philadelphia’s most accessible and fun Jazz Bar.

10 – XIX: Super fancy, this bar and restaurant sits atop the Bellvue Hotel on Broad Street.  From the 19th floor you will have incredible views of the city on their outdoor balcony seating.
