Making both our lists for coolest cafés and coolest bars, this is simply one of the coolest spots to grab a drink and a bite to eat anywhere in Florence.
Been in business since 1733 and serving some of the best espresso in Italy ever since. Order and pay at the register first, before heading to the bar with the receipt to have the barista make your coffee. “Un caffé” will get you a regular espresso, “un macchiato” will get you an espresso with a little steamed milk, and “un cappuccino” will get you a cappuccino obviously. But, beware…Italians will laugh and scoff at you if you order a cappuccino after noon.
